The Law Office of Thomas J. Fleckenstein is a full legal services private practice firm that offers a variety of legal services in all Maryland and Federal courts including but not limited to: family law (separation, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, protective orders, domestic violence issues, and asset valuation and distribution), personal injury and wrongful death, liquor board matters, business litigation and contracts, traffic court cases, criminal defense, and wills and estate administration. Principal Attorney
Tom Fleckenstein has built a decades-long career and strong reputation throughout the community by diligently and effectively problem solving complex legal issues for his clients. He is known for his results-driven approach to client advocacy and his ability to deliver practical solutions to his clients. ​​
Tom has been named a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers, a recognition earned by only the top 5% of attorneys in each state. WhatsUp Magazine has also named Tom a Leading Lawyer for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.

A graduate of Niagara University and The Columbus School of Law at Catholic University, Tom brings both strategic insight and a collaborative spirit to his practice. He is equally at home negotiating resolutions and advocating zealously in the courtroom, always focused on achieving the best outcome for those he represents.

With his private practice established in 2005, Tom also served Anne Arundel County as both Assistant and Deputy State’s Attorney. During that time, he prosecuted and litigated hundreds of criminal and civil cases across the state of Maryland, gaining deep courtroom experience and a strong reputation for integrity and skill.

Tom is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and has served as a Division Chair and Trustee of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association since 2007. He has also been appointed by the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court to serve as a Children's Privilege Attorney and Child's Best Interest Attorney, as well as a Special Administrator by the Orphan's Court for Anne Arundel County.
